10 Hair Colour Trends 2012
Every year brings with itself new fashionable colours, styles and trends whether in cosmetics, clothing or hair colours. Before choosing any hair colour for yourself you have to first think about 3 things: Your skin tone, Hair colouring technique, and what kind of hair colour suits you the most. So here is the list of 10 hair colours and colouring technique trends for 2012.
1. Bright hues hair colour
This year if your want some funky and reckless hair colours then go for bright hues including streaats, washes of pastels, dip-dye coloring techniques and be bright and funky.
2. Ombré hair color
Ombré hair color is one of my favourite hair coloring technique, Ombré hair colour means darker root and lighter ends, simple as that. You can do it with lighter or darker shades whatever goes with your skin tone.
3.Bronde hair colour
Bronde is the shade in between blonde and brunette and like last year its going to be in fashoin in 2012.
4. Platinum blonde hair colour
Platinum blonde is a very light blonde shade of silver and golden. It generally looks best on fair skin tones and is one of the best choices for the blonde girls.
5. Rich chocolate hair colour
Rich chocolate hair colour is a lilttle lighter shade of chocolate which really goes with all kind of skin tones, whether you have fair skin tones or you are brunette or black, it goes really well with every skin tone and looks amazing.
6. Funky ends hair colour
Funky ends means colorful ends of your hair. This year reds, blues, pinks, purple and mixed colorful ends are really in, but please avoid green. Your have to choose the colour for funky ends according to your skin tone and hair colour. Funky ends are must do for teens in 2012.
7. Auburn hair colour
Auburn is a beautiful reddish brown color similar to chestnut, but auburn is more on the redish while chestnut is on the brown side. It usually goes with fair skin tone.
8. Cool chestnut
Chestnut is a medium reddish shade of brown. In contrast to auburn hair, the reddish shade of chestnut is darker. It goes with almost every skin tone.
9. Multi-dimensional brown hair colour
Multi-dimensional brown hair colour is all about applying a few shades of brown on separate portions of hair. It gives your hair multi-dimensional shades. Awesome, right?
10. Balayage
Balayage is a technique in which colour is applied away from the roots onto portions of hair. Usually it is more around the face for highlighting face framing layers. It is a very natural looking look.
